KSA ICCP

To be able to enter the Saudi Arabian market you must partner with an industry leading expert, such as Intertek, who is familiar with the KSA ICCP (The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia International Conformity Certification Program) and all applicable standards and country requirements.

Most Saudi Arabian standards are based on related IEC safety standards. Like many other countries, Saudi Arabia has its own special national requirements, i.e. related to local voltage ratings, climatic/geographical conditions, plug/outlet system and public moral standards. KSA ICCP ensures the compliance of regulated imported products to local and national technical regulations and requirements for Saudi Arabia.

Intertek has successfully managed the ICCP since 1995 and has vast experience and knowledge of the regulations and requirements of the compliance process. As an appointed KSA ICCP Program Manager, we can perform the necessary third party testing and/or test data evaluation of your products to determine their compliance.

Three Paths to Market Access
Depending on your product range and exporting frequency, there are three methods of obtaining your Certificate of Conformity (CoC):

  • Pre-shipment Compliance Verification includes physical inspection of goods for safety marking, language requirements, labelling and packaging, and pre-shipment testing for compliance on each shipment.
  • Registration and Pre-shipment Inspection consists of your declaration that products meet essential Saudi Arabian requirements, product verification, pre-shipment inspection and random pre-shipment testing.
  • Type Approval Licencing includes demonstration of full compliance to Saudi Arabian sanctioned standards/product verification and random pre-shipment inspection. This option also includes factory surveillance control.
